We are teaming up with the Montana Wilderness Association to explore science on a snowshoe adventure. During the snowshoe walk, we will be exploring animal movement patterns and snow tracking while also learning how our local wildlife have adapted to survive our Montana winters.
On January 21st, we will meet at 10:00 a.m. the Vigilante Campground parking lot and snowshoe up Trout Creek Canyon. We will return to the parking lot around 2:00 p.m.
A limited number of snowshoes will be provided at both walks, but feel free to bring your own. Please bring water, snacks, a lunch, and weather-appropriate clothing layers. The walks are capped at 20 people, so sign up early!
To participate you MUST pre-register. To do so, contact ExplorationWorks at (406) 457-1800 ext. 1. All ages are welcome, although kids under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. We hope to see you there!
