2025 Winter Break Workshops
Who says the learning stops when school is on break? Not us!
We’re offering half-day workshops during the 2025 Winter Break, December 29-31 and January 2.
All day workshop options are available! Your scientist can start the day with a morning workshop, enjoy a supervised lunch break (lunch not provided), and then dive into an afternoon workshop filled with more science fun!
Workshop fees are $50 for Members and $55 for Non-members per session, and all fees are non-refundable.
New this year! You now have the option to pay $20 up front to secure your spot(s), then pay the remaining balance on December 5th.

Winter Engineering

Winter is a great time to innovate! Can you design a better snow shovel, what about a faster sled? Come test your design and building skills in this winter-themed engineering workshop!
Space Quest

What’s new in space exploration? Catch up on the latest space technology, launch a rocket, and become part of the Artemis Generation. To infinity and beyond is merely the beginning for this workshop!

Winter LEGOland

What's cooler than LEGO? Nothing, unless you're talking about LEGO in the winter! Bring a jacket, because this brick party will test a few creations out in the snow. We'll mix classic challenges with fresh projects, but one thing will never change: there will be LEGO.

Wonderful Winter Wildlife

Have you ever wondered how your favorite animals survived the long cold winter? In Winter Wildlife Wonders we will learn about miraculous frozen frogs, creative color changing creatures, and den builders big and small.
Potions!
1:00 - 4:00 PM*
Ages: 6-9
Cost: $40 Members / $45 Non-Members
Become an amateur cold-weather chemist and create cool chemical concoctions. Play with surprising icy science as we make frozen polymers, colorful colloids and test out exciting chemical reactions in the snow. (*Please note the 4pm end time for this workshop)

Winter Science and Art Collide

Science and art collide in this creative winter workshop. Come explore the imaginative side of icy science along with the experimental side of art!

Refunds cannot be issued for cancellations.
Please note that we require a minimum of 5 students in our workshops. Should we not fill 5 spaces, the workshop will be canceled. In the event this should happen, any registered students will be notified of the cancellation within 7 days of the workshop start date and will be refunded.
